Fossheim Rock Centre

Norway's largest collection of semiprecious stones and minerals is located in a converted log barn, which is built together with a farmhouse moved here from a farm where Knut Hamsun's parents earned their livelihood. There is a large gallery and shop here and a lapidary workshop. An exhibition including the sale of mammoth fossils, "Viking art" and stone art will be found in the gallery. The exhibition "Art or just stone?" is located here.
