Voss Church - Vang Church

The impressive Vang Church is a stone church that was completed in 1277. The first church on this site was a wooden structure, probably a stave church. In a royal document King Magnus Lawmender thanked the inhabitants of Voss for building a stone church to replace the wooden church. Vang Church is still in use, and there are services every Sunday.
