Vefsn Museum

The district collection at Dolstad belongs to the Vefsn Museum, and gives an impression of the building traditions and living conditions in the Vefsn district for the past 300 years. Among the many other buildings in the collection is the open-hearth hut from Forsjord, which probably dates from the 1600s and is one of Vefsn's oldest. In the buildings there are exhibitions on various themes. The café in Perjordstua offers traditional food in a distinctive atmosphere. Dolstad Church, modelled on Bakke Church in Trondheim in 1735, is nearby.
