Kvemmadokkje Cotter's Farm

Kvemmadokkje is a cotter's farm belonging to the farm Børsheim in Ulvik. It is situated about 200 metres west of the farm. The place was cultivated in the early 1800s. The last cotter ran the place till about 1930. His daughter Guri lived here till 1967. Kvemmadokkje has got its name of two reasons; the first cotter came from the neighbour municipality Kvam, and the shape of the landscape is more or less like a hollow ("dokk").
